The Stuart Harris Memorial Award
Stuart Harris was employed by Kingston Upon Hull City Council, as an Area co-ordinator for the Bransholme Park Ranger Service, he sadly died in November 2003.

He was commited to developing and assisting the community during his work within and around the North Carr area. To commemorate the life of Stuart and the hard work residents often put into their local area, the Bransholme Carnival steering group have dedicated an award in his name.

The annual award will go to anyone living in the North Carr area, for overall service to the local community. Nominations can be made by friends, family, proffesional workers, teachers or those who have benefitted by the actions of the nominee.

The winner will be decided by an award panel consisting of Stuarts family, Council officers and other outside organisations. The presentation of the award will be made at the Stuart Harris Bransholme Carnival, which Stuart himself worked hard to establish in it's early stages.

If you would like to make a nomination for the award, please contact Margaret Ginelly by email or phone 01482 331953.
